The coalition’s political council in a statement called on Muslims in the world to prevent such a happening, NABA reported.
It said the Saudi government must realize that signing a normalization agreement with the occupation regime would be met with a strong stance from all Muslims.
The statement warned that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has gotten close to signing such a deal, stressing that all Muslims would unanimously oppose such a move and that it would cause to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the Al Saud government’s management of the holy sites in Mecca and Medina.
Elsewhere in the statement, the coalition’s political council hailed Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi’s stances in his recent UN General Assembly address against Quran desecrations in the West.
It underlined the need for strongly condemning systematic attacks on Islamic sanctities in Western countries.
Speculation has been rife that the US is trying to mediate the normalization of ties between the Saudi government and Israel, even though previous normalization agreements under the so-called Abraham Accords brokered by Washington have so far proved to be an exercise in futility.
In his speech to the UNGA last week, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas warned against sidelining the Palestinian people’s legitimate national rights in any potential normalization agreement.
“Those who think that peace can prevail in the Middle East without the Palestinian people enjoying their full legitimate national rights would be mistaken,” Abbas told the summit of world leaders.
